Art Classes for Kids

Nature is just a jumping off point. In keeping with our Farm surroundings, all our children’s classes are nature-themed. But, that’s just a jumping off point. Every class is designed to get kids thinking and doing with unusual art supplies and fun, creative assignments.  Here are the classes we are currently providing:


Artwork with Deb Crosset : Let the Farm inspire you! Preschoolers will learn to use color, shape and form on a variety of two- and three-dimensional projects. Children will enjoy some time outdoors as well as a healthy snack. Tuesdays: 9:00AM – 10:30AM, $50  members, $54 non-members

Farm Fun with Deb Crosset : Preschoolers will learn about a different aspect of the Farm each day! Children will meet the animals, get into nature, enjoy a healthy snack and finish up with a graft top take home. Wednesdays: 9:00AM – 10:30AM, $50  members, $54 non-members

A.S.A.P (After School Art Program) with Gabriela Micchia: A.S.A.P will give students a unique opportunity to try new skills, expand their imagination and creativity, and enjoy learning in a relaxed atmosphere. Students will develop fine motor skills, learn to work cooperatively and most importantly gain self esteem. Classes focus on making visual arts a truly fun experience!
Tuesday:4:00PM – 5:30PM, Grades K - 1
Wednesday:4:00PM – 5:30PM, Grades 2 - 4
Thursday:4:00PM – 5:30PM, Grades 5 - 6

Homeschool Art with Maggie Burnett

Students will try their hand at a wide range of artistic experiences. Drawing, painting, sculpture, fiber arts, paper arts, and printmaking will allow students the chance to increase their ability to see and understand color and shape while using a variety of materials. Students will enjoy working cooperatively in the Farm’s supportive environment. Thursdays, 9:00AM – 10:30AM, $60 members, $64 non-members

Half Day Art with Gabriela Micchia: Looking for something to do on those half days from school? Spend them making art at Holcomb Farm! Students ages k-6 will try printmaking, mask making, mobiles and a myriad of other fun and creative activities.
